Company History
GMZ was founded in 2006 with the mission to rapidly commercialize nano-engineered materials, a building block for a new generation of solid-state energy-efficient products. The founding team and investors recognized the unique opportunity to leverage a game-changing shift in technology capability, with new market dynamics that will force adoption of alternative approaches to power generation, and replacement of products that generate green house gases. GMZ is supported by investments from Kleiner Perkins, British Petroleum, Mitsui Global Ventures, I2BF and Energy Technology Ventures.
